Halal Sakura

I was introduced to this restaurant by my Uzbek friend, and we have hanged out there for quite many times. For the first time dining there, I did not expect that I would get used to the taste of lamb in Plov (Pilaf), because in my culture, we don't eat lamb. Surprisingly, the taste was beyond expe...ctation, and i was amazed by the food culture of Uzbekistan as well as Middle Eastern area. Gradually, i have grown a love for Uzbek food, and come to the restaurant more often. If you would love to try and experience a unique food culture, Halal Sakura would be a wise choice.

I'm not used to Japan, so maybe this is really normal in restaurants, but someone lit a cigarette and I couldn't stay. Definitely never coming back, don't intend to make the same mistake again.

The restaurant is near to the hotel we stayed and near Nippori and Uguisudani station. We went there at night around 10pm. We were starving after a long day at Disneyland and relieved that there was a restaurant still open in the neighbourhood.The speciality of this restaurant is Uyghur cuisine but ...after looking thru the menu, we thought they were expensive and worried they might taste spicy for the kids. So we ordered 3 sets of Japanese meal (mackerel, salmon and beef sets). Included in the set were miso soup, salad, kimchi and drink. The taste was nice, and portion was good too. Very filling for our tummies. If you miss eating beef of chicken while in Tokyo, you can try this restaurant. It was expensive for us but its halal then its ok
