“A genuine experience”
A genuine Japanese experience, taking off your shoes, sit down at low tables (with space for the legs) and get served by kimono dressed waitresses. Calm background music. We had one if the multi course lunch menus, sooo good! Might be smart to book a table.

“Scary at first - glad we tried it. ”
We winged this one and just walked in off the street at lunch time thinking it was a Chinese restaurant. After stashing our umbrellas we were asked to remove our shoes and escorted upstairs to a private dining room where it was apparent we we sitting on the floor and this was a Japanese restaurant. ...Fortunately for our western comfort the floor drops away under the table and we could all sit upright. We had a button to press to summon our server. The next surprise was the menu - basically king crab and snow crab served every way imaginable and a few way unimaginable. The “English” menu was not much help so we went back to the Japanese a la carte menu and took our chances. English was not our server’s second language. We did a lot of pointing at the pictures in the menu with our fingers crossed. You better like crab, because that’s basically what this restaurant serves. The draft Ashi beer was good and the cold sake was dry as requested. I’ve been eating sushi and sashimi since the 1970’s and was blown away by sashimi raw king crab - it was delicious, sweet and tasty - we all loved it. We also loved the king crab sushi which was cooked and served over rice with a touch of wasabi. We ordered two of the king crab tempura dishes which were good, but not as exciting as the sashimi. I think tempura is a waste of king crab. We shared a large congee of snow crab, egg, rice scallions and seaweed which we loved too. The doria was a small baked creamy macaroni, rice and crab dish that was also incredible. The crab croquets were also excellent. Ice cream topped off the meal, green tea, vanilla and lemon sorbet. No one was hungry after lunch and we had an awesome adventure and a wonderful meal.

“All About the Crab !”
Awesome Japanese dining experience while sitting in tatami private room. We had a party of 10 and service was excellent. For us, it was the first time we had to take off our shoes to eat in a Japanese restaurant, but well worth it. The restaurant serves all crab dishes. We had more 6 courses of crab... dishes in different forms. It was all phenomenal. Definitely a brand new dining experience and a fun and delicious dinner. Highly recommended.

“Expensive but good. ”
We went without advance booking and waited 40 munutes to get a table for 4. Good crab meal and expensive. We also visited the Osaka branch and found this place to be quite dimly feeling. Food wise both the same.
