Asakusamonja Kanoya

It's the best place for monja and okonomiyaki! It's a spacious, air-conditioned place with high ceilings. The servers can cook for you, and they're quick and good at what they do. The food is delicious, and I recommend visiting if you're in Japan. Please be aware that the restaurant is very popular ...and gets packed after 12 p.m.

Our guide from a tour recommended to try Monja in Tokyo so we actually visited here but it was so delicious and so fun experience. The waitress was also so nice and friendly. She helped us to make it on our hot plate and totally great experience ! Highly recommend

The restaurant was pretty busy at lunch time partially because we were there on the Weekend. The food experience was interesting with a lot of fun foods like monjyayaki and okonomiyaki It's very fun being able to make your own food on the teppanyaki and share it with others

We went with our Japanese friends while we were visiting Asakusa. The restaurant itself was really busy. We waited almost 40 minutes to get a bigger table. It’s a kind of bbq restaurant. We order a lot of different dishes for a try. All of them were very delicious. I certainly loved the seafood with... cabbages which the waiter would do the cooking performance in front of you. Kind of is very interesting. We really enjoyed the whole atmosphere and dishes. Highly recommend to anyone who would like to try authentic Japanese style bbq.

Family of 5 including 2 small children randomly went into this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. We ordered monjuyaki and okonomiyaki, plus some extra things on the side. Had them cooked for us and tasted amazing. Perhaps a bit on the small side, and not exactly cheap, the atmosphere and se...rvice made up for it. Terrific fun
