“Love it!!!”
I am Swiss and this place is the real deal! 3 Reasons why you HAVE to visit!! 1. The Food They have a huge variety of several tasty dishes. I went there many times and i try to eat everytime a different dish from the Menu. My recommendations: Zürcher Geschnetzeltes, Schnitzel,(with or without che...ese), Filet Steak!, and for dessert the Flambé Cherry (for two) 2. The Ambient They do not have ANY kitsch. The restaurant is decorated with real (and actually very expensive) things of Swiss culture. Like big cow bells, a alphorn and more. 3. The Owner The owner has a real swiss character. Straight forward with a big heart and really funny. He is preparing Swiss food for years and visited Switzerland many times. His knowledge about culture and food is extraordinary. (He knows much more about my own country than i do) If you are there, ask him about his experiences and he will gladly talk about good or bad in Switzerland.

“Used to be good now in steep decline”
This is a Swiss/German restaurant in the upscale area of town. It has been in business for a very long time. I first ate here some 20 years ago. It used to be quite good with an extensive menu. The décor is Swiss kitsch and has only 6 tables. Now to the present. I ate here last month and was ...shocked to see 1/4th of the menu items "crossed out". Although no longer available the owner clearly doesn't want to print new menus so he just crosses out items. Very tacky and cheap looking. The food is poor. I ate the weinerschnitzel. It was dry and over cooked. There was nothing served with the meat. I had to ask for some lemon to flavor it. The appetizer plate was some sliced salami and cheese on a bare plate. For the price very disappointing. Beer is almost $10 a 300ml glass. The climax to my experience was when I was refused a dessert order because my table was promised to a group due in 30 minutes........HUH? Although I used to consider this one of the few passable "foreign" restaurants in town I will not be back. It is expensive, and caters to the Japanese group party crowd who want the "exotic" experience of having fondue. I guess they stay in business for this purpose only as their other offerings are barely edible. I do NOT recommend this place
