“Was better before, but still great”
I came here with my family for lunch on a weekday, once in April and once in August 2018. My sister had a baby so we dined in their private room. We were reaaally impressed on our first visit- the portion, quality and timing of the food was great, and the service spectacular. When we came back in Au...gust, everything was still good but we got a lunch box for the same price we got a lunch course for in April, with less portions and less quality...still the perfect place to go when you want to spend some private time with your loved ones! I would’ve given this place 6 stars if I could for our first visit, and 5 stars for our visit in August.

“It used to be great”
I lived in Japan from 1995 to 1998, and this was one of my favorite restaurants. Great food, great service and an impeccable atmosphere. I was so glad to see that this restaurant was still around when we visited Japan earlier this year, but the food quality and ambiance nose dived. It was loud, wh...en it used to be serene. The food quality was disappointing. The sashimi was among the worst I had in my life, and the sukiyaki main course was not good either. It always breaks my heart when a restaurant that used to be so great, is gone. Sadly that is the case here.
