“quite OK; not bad, not really special ”
Maybe our problem was going there after finding out that Paradise Dynasty in Ginza was closed on Jan 1st 2018. This is not a bad restaurant, however its xiao long bao are far from the quality of their competition. In other places of the world, this would be a 4 or even 5 points review. In Tokyo h...owever, considering the options you have - Paradise Dynasty, Din Tai Fung...and probably 20 more I don’t know of, this is only 3 points. Still, it’s a very decent compromise and you have no readon to avoid it (it’s Tokyo, after all :-)

“Decent food but service a bit lacking”
Visited here with friends on weekend and it was very busy. The food was very tasty and good however, I do agree with previous comment in that service is not good and shall we say not particularly polite. Further very limited to non existent wine selection I would go again however, for the food

“How could a place this rude be in Japan”
My wife and I have lived in Japan for almost 18 months so we have a good understanding of the usually impeccable service here. Which is why it is surprising that Nansho can operate with their terrible service. After a few hours in the city walking and shopping we decided to get some dim-sum, xiao... long bao. Walked in, place was half empty. The hostess showed us to a small table between two others where guests were seated. We said no, we wanted more space and quieter. The hostess said no. We pointed to empty 4-person tables and booths and asked to sit there. The hostess walked out and came back with the manager. He asked why we would not sit - odd that he did not ask how he can help. We said we wanted more space at a quieter table. He said no. We pointed out the place is half empty, seat us where we want to sit. He said no, 2 persons sit at 2 person table, so we walked out. We will not go back. If you want xiao long bao I suggest going to Ding Tai Feng.

“Chic restaurant on 51st floor boasts excellent fusion cuisine”
This club hosted our team of 108 and served up a fantastic 5-course prix fixe menu. The courses spanned the globe ethnically; yet it all came together quite well.
