“Dessert shop using the highest quality of fruits”
While there are so many dessert and sweet shops in Tokyo, Senbikiya is one of my favourite because they use the best fruits of the season and their high quality is always consistent. With their many shops in high traffic tourist areas, it is not difficult to find one close-by. As I was staying in ...a hotel in Kyobashi this time, it was logical to visit their Main Store ("Honten"). Learnt from walking past the shop that they offer a morning tea set so I gave it a try and was not disappointed.

“Delicious fruit dessert”
This fruit dessert cafe is located at Daimaru 3/f. We were looking somewhere for afternoon tea after shopping in daimaru and saw the shops attractive food display. So we made a good choice. It is July peach season in Japan. Of course we must order the special peach dessert. They are just so juicy a...nd yummy. Worth a visit even if it is not peach season. They have branches in Tokyo station Yaesu underground shopping area. (This is a wonderful shopping maze u can’t miss especially in rainy days. Lots of shops and restaurants....) easy to get to if u reach Tokyo station. Anyway, we enjoyed the desserts and the half waffle tea set (it is a big waffle in half size) served with a coffee. Other tea sets, tea or coffee or drinks are not inclusive. Also It is the most tiny tiny cream jug (maybe just one teaspoon of cream in that jug) I have ever seen. Cute though. So if you visit japan in July try to eat eat peaches. The peach season only lasts for one month. Everywhere you go u will see big juicy peaches and some kind of peach products like peach face cream, peach lip balm, peach moisturizer....

“Fruits dessert ”
Fruits are of high quality. Other than that, it is a average dessert eatery. If not a fruits craze person, can skip this store.

“A Great Introduction to the Fruit Culture of Japan”
I think many people have heard about the melons that cost more than US$100, so many may be a bit apprehensive about trying fruit in Japan. Sembikiya has made its name with the gifting of fruit in Japan, and operates shops and cafés in Japan. Let's make it clear. This place is not cheap. However, yo...u do get introduced to the magnificent fruit that is available in Japan. At least, in relatively small servings, things can be more reasonably-priced.
