“Expensive Fruit Parfait!!”
Sembikiya fruit emporium is run by the same samurai- descendant family since 1834. Both parfaits shown in picture here are the seasonal items. The chestnut parfait is too sweet overall. But, I loved those big giant chestnuts on it. For the pear parfait, I wish it had more pear in it. Only the top of... the parfait has fruit slices. And, the fruit sadly is not remarkable. The decor of the Ebisu branch is rather dated. This is probably the most expensive fruit parlor in Tokyo. I am rather disappointed that they did not upgrade the shop. Not worth at all!!

“A classy fun place for an afternoon treat!”
Kyobashi Sembikiya is a chain famous for selling hi-end fruits and vegetables from growers that take very special care of their products while growing. As a result, they're expensive - but absolutely worth it if you appreciate good taste. The same goes with their dessert shop. Some of the items can... be pricey, but you're guaranteed some of the most delicious parfaits, dessert waffles, puddings and jellies you've ever tasted. A great place to take a date or the family - highly recommended.
