“Great Italian resturant that is English speaking friendly”
Really happy we stumbled upon this place. Food was wonderful and pretty reasonably priced. Menu was in Italian, but pretty easy to translate and read if you speak English but eat enough Italian food to know the very basics. The kitchen was incredibly clean. We sat at the counter and watched them coo...k. Pretty good well priced wine list as well.

“Nice italian-japanese cousin”
With no reservations we were asked to wait outside for a couple of minutes before we were seated. The local is really small and narrow but very welcoming and relaxed. Like everywhere in Tokyo the service is excellent and friendly. We had the 50 cm salcicca, carpaccio, margerita, pasta vonhole and ...spagetti basil. It was very tasty and the japanese twist only made the food better and more tasty.

“A Taste of Italy to Perfection in Tokyo”
We found this tiny piece of Italian heaven in Tokyo! After visiting many countries in SE Asia for a month, we were looking for a meal with a little more resemblense to our home cooking for dinner. Our last dinner in Tokyo was blessed in a tiny place with a real taste of Italy. The Il-Chianti Rossa i...s small, it has 12 seats in the front and 12 more in the back, and was a real treat. The food was more than one should expect for Italian food in Japan, and they have a choice of 6 Chiantis to choose from. They serve excellent appetizers and are more than willing to accommodate your suggestions. The menu options cover all bases, and are well done. The staff, like the entire population of Tokyo, are the kindest, sweetest people in the world. If you are in Tokyo and are craving some Italian food, don't give it a second thought, they will not disappoint! Il-Chianti Rosso has the kind of atmosphere that only small, relatively unknown places can provide. A reservation is a good idea as they are pretty small!
