“One of our favorite meals in Japan”
One of the best meals we had in Tokyo. The venue was very intimate with only ~12 seats. Reservations required. Each course was served at the same time for all guests. The food was delicious – each meal felt well thought out and special. Be aware that the dinner course is substantial and you will lea...ve feeling full (which is great). The staff and especially the host made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend you give it a try.

“Best Omakase in small pretty restaurant.”
I visited this wonderful restaurant with my four teenage children and it was the best meal of our trip. We had a 6 course Omakase dinner with every single dish being explained and executed perfectly. They were all so delicious that it is hard to pick a favourite but the mackerel appetiser, their sig...nature sea urchin dish and the wagyu were especially good. The restaurant is small and intimate. Very pretty little place and the staff attentive and very nice. If you have the chance to go - don’t miss this gem!

“A truly unforgettable experience!”
What a fantastic experience - one of the best restaurants we have eaten in! A small, intimate omakase experience with a modern twist on kaiseki. The food was exceptional and we really enjoyed the sake pairings. Watching the chefs prepare our delicious food was fascinating and immersive. We will def...initely be back on our next visit to Tokyo!

“Fabulous Omakase”
Just a wonderful omakase experience. Small, but wonderful restaurant where you observe first-hand the incredible work of the chef and his helpers. Sushi was just perfect as was presentation and beautiful plates for each course. We did the wine/sake pairing which is a must to do. Restaurant i...s set back from the street, so make sure to look at exterior photos so you know what it looks like. It books up fast, so make sure you reserve well in advance.

“Engaging chef and his team providing amazing food”
Tokyo has amazing food and there are so many places to try but Shirosaka is one of those places worth exploring more than once. This was our second visit and it was once again amazing. We like that formality and the quality of the food served in a relaxed environment. The restaurant also encourag...es conversation with other diners and both times we had wonderful conversations with fellow diners. You should consider the wine, sake and beer pairing--amazing variety. We also like that we can reserve this restaurant on-line. So many restaurants in Japan require a phone reservation or using a third party that charges a fee. Thank you for a great evening!
