“Very good!”
Fantastic experience, was very welcoming and delicious food. The sake served was very smooth and tasty. Food 10/10 would recommend, the Belly Tuna, scallops and Mackerel was my favourite.

“A great Omakase experience”
I learned of Sushi Shin from Mikey Chens YouTube video and I made a reservation online from the link on Google Maps. Surprisingly when we got there it was a rare occurrence where it was only me and my fiancé dining for dinner that night so it felt like a intimate private dining experience for just t...he two of us. Chef Shinji worked in California and New York for many years before moving back to Tokyo and opening this restaurant, he speaks English as well so it’s tourist friendly. The interior of the restaurant seats 6 counter seats so it’s a small space without much decor, it’s just you and the chef working behind the counter as the main focus. The quality of the fish was good and Shinji uses what’s in season. The only small downside for our course is there was a lot of toro and uni in the meal maybe around 3 each? So I felt the meal was a little repetitive even though he prepared them in different ways I would’ve preferred to have more shellfish or fish that were not as common even though his preparation made the fish tender and flavorful. We had ordered the house sake multiple times to go with our meal and I think the sake tasted good for the price. We had good conversation with the chef and the meal was enjoyable. After dinner the alleyways light up and you can explore the surrounding neighborhood along with the yokocho near the train station.

“Experience as foreigners”
This was an incredible experience. The chef, Shin, was kind and a very good host, with quite good English as well. The ambiance was perfect. The food was very fresh and all of it was delicious. The effort placed on highlighting the nigiri's flavor was par to none-utilizing acidic and earthy compleme...ntary ingredients, chef Shin demonstrated a deep understanding of the all ingredeints to provide guests and flavorful bite. I can't recommend this place enough.
