“For those who like spicy food, level 4 may be just right. ”
You can choose from 5 levels of spiciness and numbness. For those who like spicy food, level 4 may be just right. The restaurant is surprisingly small. Might be tough for big guys. Japanese dry food is not bad, with good flavor.

“A restaurant that serves very spicy dishes”
It is a small restau...rant with only about 10 counter seats, but it is so popular that people line up day and night. Although the restaurant is located under an elevated bridge where frequent trains such as the Yamanote Line come and go, I did not feel that much noise while I was eating. The main dishes were the so-called spicy dishes such as Tantanmen and Mapo tofu. Even the least spicy, with the least amount of spices, was spicy enough to leave me sweating and feeling numb even after eating. Therefore, if you don't like spicy food, this is not the place for you. Of course, the spiciness did not deceive us, and all the dishes were delicious, especially the noodles and the crunchy topping vegetables. No wonder they have so many repeat customers.

“Delicious last lunch”
Our last ramen in Japan, we weren't disappointed. We wandered past this place as we were on our way to the park, saw the queue and decided to go in. We weren't sure what to order, just picked what looked good in the pictures on the vending machine. Flavourful, spiced broth with pork mince (I could h...ave gone a bit hotter than 3 on the scale). Delicious.

“Dinner for two”
Came by this place. It is a small place with a bar/counter. It was packed with locals and had a short line before the entrance. Inside there is one of the menu's machines in the front of the store with pictures & Japanese writing. You pay and chose a meal upfront at this machine and give the ticket... to the personal behind the counter. I had a szechuan tofu dish, which was spicy and delicious. My company had a dish with noodles and rice, which was also good. If you want a properly prepared, spicy dish, which is a little bit of an adventure (no English menu and only Japanese speaking people in the restaurant, than this is the place for you. Last thing, dishes are very reasonable prices as well. We had the two dishes and cup of extra rice for less then 2000 yen.

“Great spicy and super cheap food!”
We were trying to look for something that didn't look like a tourist trap in the area of Akihabara when we came accross this tiny place. Under the train line is a tiny restaurant with 10 stools around the kitchen serving no more than 10 dishes. It was full when we got there with locals and had to wa...it for 5-10minutes. It was worth the wait! The waiters were very nice but didn't speak any English at all (obviously no English menu either) but we based out choices on the little photos next to the payment machine. The tofu dish and the noodles with beef were teally good but quite spicy! They both came with white rice and a soup. We paid less than 2,000 yens and could hardly finish our plates! From the business card we got it seems like they have another two locations. Totally recommendable!!
