“Be Early for Lunch!”
Place your order by the kiosk once you enter before seating. Very few cubicles! so be early for lunch to avoid waiting. Very filling and heavy meal for you to jumpstart your day! As courtesy to people waiting in line, once you are done, leave.

“Cost-Effective if You Can Wait”
Stopped here while in the area looking for a noodle type dish and found out that this was actually a chain with worldwide operations. Ordering consists of a line where at the entrance, you fill out preferences such as flavour strength, richness, and noodle hardness. You then wait for a seat at what... is essentially a seat at a bar type set up with dividers where you get served through a small window (the dividers can be folded if you're part of a group). I ordered the classic tonkotsu ramen. The flavour was very interesting, I chose a light flavour strength with a mild richness and I felt that this broth was less salty than what I get with typical tonkotsu, a combination I found melded very nicely. The pork was solid and wasn't overly seasoned which I like. I selected firm for the noodles and was not disappointed with them being cooked slightly over al dente. The service here is solid and welcoming although there's a bit of limited interaction since you can't really see the server's face and you're essentially eating in a phone booth. If atmosphere and a potentially lengthy wait aren't extreme deal breakers, this can be an easy way to get some cheap ramen in Tokyo.

“Japan Ichiran Hits Different”
On every visit we make, this is one of our main go to spots. It's right next to one of our other spots just around the corner, called Aras Kebab. Before trying Japan's Ramen, I thought I've tasted everything. I was completely wrong. The taste is nothing like you have ever tasted. I doubt America ca...n even attempt to recreate such a treasure. The line moves fairly quick. The service is very efficient. The seating is kind of snug, but being an American, well we are kind of built different. But if I can fit, most people can fit. I'm 6 foot for crying out loud.
