ICHIRAN Asakusa

The restaurant was in a basement of a building, about 5 minutes on foot from Sensoji Temple. We ordered a set combo that came with a ramen bowl, a dish of extra pork slide, an egg, and a water bottle. The broth was so flavorful. Pork was tender, and egg was yummy. More importantly, service was fast ...and professional, thanks to the amazing staff.

We came for lunch and were prepared for the wait - around 30 minutes. Once you make it downstairs, you order and pay through a machine. Then, you fill out a paper for your specific ramen. I had watched a video online before I went to understand all of the choices. We requested the booth for the ...full experience. It was $16 for 2 bowls and 2 drinks.

We had to wait for app 30 minutes to get into the restaurant. Fortunately the food was serviced quite quickly (7-8 minutes only). The noodles and broth were amazing but the pork was underwhelming.

this ichiran closes early and only has 10 booth seats. the special ichiran experience in my opinion includes the booths, but due to the limited space in this one, very few people actually get to the booths. most people just sit at normal tables, which you're paying the same price for but not having ...the full experience when coming here, we learned that we had to intentionally raise our spice level because their Level 1 here is more tame than the Level 1 of other ichirans. the usual deal of having seaweed etc in their set is also not here. they replaced it with something else that has less ingredients but include their own tea. overall, preferred the other set meal that didn't include the tea also doesn't have the matcha dessert that other ichirans have

We had lunch here. Waiting in the queue for 40 minutes, and it is worth it. It is recommended. There are not many choices, but it is best on each option.
