“asakusa tempura bar, crispy gold vibes”
akimitsu is such a fun “tempura + drinks” spot. everything comes out hot n super crispy, and the tendon sauce is lowkey addictive lol. 1f counter / 2f chill tatami. go early—gets busy.

Small simple place with traditional seating upstairs. Mostly lican clientel and they do tempura. Service is young but kind and efficient

“Fair quality for the price ”
To satisfy my yearning for tempura, we strolled to Akimitsu at the end of the Hisago Dori shopping street. Tempura was mediocre in quality and the price reflects this fact. Service was fair, the restaurant was an hour from closing and was mostly empty. VALUE for money but there are many better te...mpura restaurants around
