“Excellent Beef Tongue”
We chanced upon this restaurant by accident in Harajuku and it was an overall good experience. We initially thought they served steak but the menu had more interesting lunch sets that we tried those out instead. It was packed on a weekday lunch with mostly locals. The sets include rice, side dishe...s, soup, and tororo which is a grated japanese yam that looks like a soupy glue. It was interesting, but some of us didn't like theirs. You can order a set without it. We had a mixed set (tongue and pork strips), my dad had the pork steak (he liked the sauce it was cooked in and that it was soft), and my mom ordered a triple set (beef and pork, no tongue) It was all very good. I like tongue. But for first timers, this would be a great choice since it doesn't look like a tongue and it tastes like normal grilled beef. The texture is a little chewier but not off-putting. English menu available. Staff knows a bit of english. Worth a try.

“Fascinating find”
Soft and very good taste of beef tongue. Not much smell of the beef that you usually get from other restaurants. There is an english menu and you may need to wait in line for your seat if it gets crowded during lunch hour.
