After coming back from Mexico for a vacation away from Tokyo last year, I was craving the type of Mexican cuisine that I ate at the new and trendy restaurants in Mexico City and Oaxaca. I was so pleased to find just that in Shibuya at this spot, Rubia! The tacos are on another level and you can tast...e the care that went into them. It was great that they had a lot of veggie options for my vegetarian friends so that we could enjoy dinner in a nice restaurant together since it’s so hard to do that in Tokyo. The atmosphere of the restaurant on the first floor is very airy and relaxing. I absolutely loved the bar upstairs where they serve a large selection of tequila and mezcal (my favorite) and have the best cheese plate to munch on with drinks. A must-go for a nice evening with quality food and drinks when in Shibuya with friends! I’m so happy to have been recommended it!

Id say its a spacious and delicious lunch/dinner spot which is hard to find in tokyo. its a new Modern Mexican restaurant and mixology bar upstaris, right near the new Parco building. Lunch starts from 500yen a taco and they provide you with vegan and vegetarian options which is nice… but the dinne...r time is the bomb!! Its a Mexican- Japanese fusion, something I have never tasted before! Not to mention, the 2F is a hidden-ish bar called TAHONA. You can take your conversation upstairs and have a nice cocktail for around 1300yen. Nice collection of mezcal. Will go back.
