The food was good, the drinks were good too. Everything else felt very off and created a poor experience. The customer service and seating process felt very unfriendly as well. Now the big things were that we were served very small dishes of pickled vegetables as an appetizers unprompted, and when... we went to pay, each appetizer dish was actually 290 yen and the server did not let us know about that. When we asked about the fee, she just says she charges everyone that and did not explain the charge at all, speaking in a condescending way. So we basically had to pay a fee without really knowing what or why it was for. Next, we were cut off from ordering more teppanyaki meat. The server came to our table and let us know they were out of meat, although she continued serving other tables with the same dishes of meat. Overall, the food was good, fairly priced, but customer service and foreigner friendliness was terrible, near racist experience. Would not go back as a tourist, and with so many other places nearby, there is surely a better restaurant experience to have.
