I guess English is not available at this restaurant. The restaurant has a menu without pictures of food. Well, If you have a picture of what you want, then the owener can cook it I guess. This Nabe(pot), called Miso Nabe was incredibly delicious. 電話で予約 した際、え？客来るの？みたいな感じの対応でした。少しビクビクしながらお店に入ると、まあ 感じ...のいい大将さん！🤣 きっとお客さんに人に気を使う優しい方なので、あまり来られると、嫌だったのかな？と思います。その気持ちわかりますしね、、、。 鍋(みそ味)は、とてもとてもおいしかったです！！！草津に立ち寄った際、絶対 また行きます！❤️ごちそうさまでしたーっ！！！

The place is good and the cooker/owner is really kind. At the same time, ordering a chanko nabe for two, with one beer and sake (for one), we payed 4950 ¥. The taste was good but not fantastic, so, in my opinion, the dinner was expensive. If you know some local people that could help you to translat...e the menu (only in Japanese without pictures), maybe the experience should be different. I would not repeat in this restaurant.
