“Best meat I’ve ever ate!!”
Excellent food, it’s pricey, but worth it for any occasion. Gourmet food and quality… Ambience fantastic, like your in an old but modern day castle. Tricky to find in building basement with with secret doors…we loved it!!

“4 years here and i just found this gem- OMG!!!!!!!”
I do not know where to begin. I found out at the end of the dinner this restaurant is part or associated with the ninja akasaka restaurant which is amazing theme restaurant here. The aesthetic is AMAZING here. Wow, like a cool cave, back in time and location, not in tokyo- lol--- and underground. ...Cool starts the moment you arrive! I won't give it away, but... you'll enjoy the entrance. Each small table set of 4, though there is a room of 6/8/maybe 10 possible. Impeccable, and oh, the bathroom is really, really cool. Ok, I digress. This place is about the wine and then the food, though the food rivals one of the largest and best wine lists I have seen in tokyo- and I have dined here--wow! very well done to the sommelier--- pricey wine, but worth it IMHO. We chose the set menu rather than trying to figure things out, and unless set-o does not change, it was a wise choice and I would do it again. Each course, was small, well paced (yay), and perfect. Wow!!!!! Service is excellent, not rushed and typical VERY friendly. English good (thank you), but we can speak some passing Japanese now. Enjoyed champagne to start, Aka (red) wine a nice kenzo, and a glass of red at the end (more marriage to what we ate). Soup was mushroom truffle a wow- followed by foie gras (fantastic, probably best in my life I've eaten), followed by lobster (yay), and then a perfectly done wagyu sirloin. and then "ULTIMATE" shrimp curry with rice. Then my wife and I chatted in this really nice secluded table. I have to say, we will definitely go back here.

“A lovers hideaway with good meals and splendid wine lists”
The restaurant is well hiden away from the crowd as it is located in the basement of a building at a quiet corner of a T junction a little away from Roppongi Mid Town with no sign post of the restaurant except a mark "B" A solid wooden door of the restaurant is shut and locked. Obviously they would ...not let those without reservation enter. When I called for reservatun they took note of my full name and telephone nunnber and called me back to confirm booking a table. A firm security system they have I suppose. The inside is quite dark and each table is separated by curtain and wine or wine glasses racks lishted up by chandelier and downlight so that one sees only things on the table well enough but not opposite faces. It really looked like an old night club in London where Christine Keeler used to work. My wife and I ordered a dinner menue at yen 6,700 each and enjoyed and liked most of all. Potage of brown mush room and truffles as a starter was so tasteful that it undoubtedly made us feel expectant of the following dishes. Following to it Foie gras imported from Bulgaria sautéed with Calvados was excellent. Poêlé of blackfin seabass with verjus sauce was rather common but following boofbrginiyon and surprisingly a very small portion of prawn curry and rice as the last dish were very good. My wife took cheese instead of curry and she was surprised by very good and unique taste of Mimolette which was quite different from the ones tasted before. The wine list is very long though not quite as long as at Enoteca Pinchiorr Firenze. Price of wine is thought to be reasonable at such a restaurant in Tokyo as Poupille 2010 as a sample was Yen 12,000 three times the internet market price. Wines served by glass were rather expensive compared with the quality but quite beneficial as, for a single drinker like me, one could enjoy variety of wines. For example I started with Chabris but changed to Gewürztraminer for foie-gras. For boofbrginiyon I could choose Volnay. Overall it was a good dining place but was too dark for conversation over the table. Probablly a good palce for a couple to become secetely friendly.
