“Excellent Shabu-Shabu”
This is an excellent place for shabu-shabu in the Plena Mall next to JR Kaihimmakuhari station. Located on the 4th floor of the mall, it is convenient to the major center of the activity in Makuhari. Our distributors took us to this place one evening after a conference we attended. They took all of... their principals which amounted to a group of about 25 - 30 people. The restaurant prepared a private room for us and we found the service to be excellent all evening. For dinner, our hosts ordered various cuts of beef and pork. The meat quality was exceptional. There were two broths available in which to cook the meat. One was a standard concoction while the other was spicy. I had an affinity for the latter as it delightfully enhanced the taste of the meat. After preparation, the savory end product was very enjoyable...every bite! There were various sides of pickles, etc. that were also very good. Overall, this place was excellent and I would recommend it for good shabu shabu if you are in the Makuhari area. I cannot comment on the price because I never saw a menu or the bill. But as far as the quality of the fare was concerned, it was a big thumbs up.

“Shabushabu at Onyasai”
Have you ever heard of "Shabushabu"? In this restaurant, you can try one of famous Japanese meals. You can put many ingredients raging from vegetables to meats into a pot with the hot water and eat with your friends at one table. Upon opening the door of the restaurant "Onyasai" on the third f...loor of Plena Makuhari, which serves the "Shabusbabu" , you will notice that the atmosphere of the interior is quiet and relatively darker than usual. These elements offer a comfortable setting for the meal. There are two ways to eat. One is a normal course which you need to pay money for each dish you order. The other is an all-you-can-eat course for two hours. If you usually eat a lot, I definitely recommend the latter. Although the amount of food on one plate is so small that you need to order a lot, this is a good point for people who do not usually eat so much. They can keep eating little by little. There are several meal options for the all-you-can-eat course, and they vary depending on how many different kinds of meat they have. The cheapest price for the free-to-eat course is ¥2,814, and that has only three types of meat. On the other hand, the highest price is ¥5,019, and that has eleven types of meat. There were many kinds of food I could choose from the menu. For example, they have "suigyouza," which are dumplings that you cook in boiling water. Personally, I could be satisfied fully with the cheapest one because I could eat chicken, beef, and pork at least, and a very delicious dessert. Of course, these things which I mentioned above were not the only good points, but also the service of this restaurant was so perfect, better than I have ever experienced. Compared with some all-you-can-eat restaurants where I have been before, the Onyasai staff members were so attentive to customers. Almost all of the staff members were young, friendly women and a few men. It was literally so fantastic a restaurant that I would like to visit again soon.
