Nikuebisu 89BAL

We visit Tokyo twice a month on business and every time we stop by 89BAL for dinner. Kensaku, Tsuyoshi and Alice do an amazing job creating some incredible food. Their Wagyu beef is simply the best!! Try the curry also, out of this world!!

I don't write reviews but I have to write for 89 Bal. Everytime we come to Japan, we make sure to eat here. The beef here is by far the best I've eaten! The chefs put such effort into every dish and the flavor can't be compared. Unfortunately, it's hard for me to eat beef anywhere else without havin...g to compare it to 89 Bal. In all my travels, there hasn't been a restaurant that came close. Also, the service here incredible. Very friendly and courteous. Highly recommend!

So I came back after a few months. So was it a lucky shot the first time? Nope, I'm happy tot ell you that both my Japanese friend and me were impressed again.

So I came across this place by accident. The beef is great, some of the guys won the beef meister awards. It is rather small and has an authentic Japanese feel to it. After months in Japan, this is surely one of the places I'm absolutely in love with.
