Thai Ryori Siam House Inage

Tom Yum Kun noodle lunch was a bit thinner than usual. Near 1:30 pm and I was refused my usual table under the pretense that if a table of 4 came in, they would need it. However there were 2 other 4-person tables and we were suck under the eaves and near the toilet. The service was poor and chances... that despite have been coming here for 4 years, I shan’t return. Pity.

We went to this Thai restaurant for lunch on our way back from Chiba. The restaurant is about a ten minutes walk from JR Inage Station on the Soubu Line. We were driving, so we parked in the car park of Maruetsu superstore opposite the restaurant. Parking is free for two hours if you spend one thou...sand yen at the superstore. We recognized we'd been to this restaurant a couple of years ago. The restaurant was not busy and the majority of the tables were empty. Still the staff asked us to sit in a corner table or at the counter, but we didn't argue. I ordered their special lunch set W4 which starts with a vermicelli salad, your two mains of chicken green curry with rice and pattai (thai stir fried noodles) with tom yum kun soup followed by dessert. The spicy vermicelli on a salad bed was good but dressed too heavily in the sticky and spicy sauce. The tom yum kun soup was weaker than what I am used to, perhaps missing some ingredients, and the green curry lacked its usual richness. The special lunch at 1,580 yen is a bargain with two mains and the tom yum kun soup. All the plates are voluminous. Unfortunately they did not meet our tastes.
