“I particularly liked their rich and spicy green curry.”
This area just south east of JR Funabashi Station has become quite international with Spanish, Italian and even a Sri Lankan restaurant. We were looking to have lunch when we noticed this restaurant specializing in Avocado dishes. We examined their menu outside and decided to give it a try. They are... one floor up a narrow stairway on the second floor. The restaurant was much more spacious than I had expected. It was about 1pm and there were five guests before us. We ordered the shrimp and avocado green curry and their two sandwich (prosciutto and beef guacamole) set. I particularly liked their rich and spicy green curry. Similar to Thai green curry but I was surprised how well it goes with chunks of avocado. I learned from the owner that they had moved here five years ago from close to Keisei Daijinguu Station about a kilometer away. The atmosphere was good. It was a great find for us to enjoy a good lunch at 1,000 yen per person including a coffee.
