“If you're not hung up on service, it's fine”
I am not one to venture into restaurants in Department stores during weekends because they are overcrowded and at times the long wait for a table can kill your appetite. A friend was visiting from back home and we wanted to try out Vietnamese. I had been to Lotus Palace for lunch some time back and ...thought it would be convenient to visit them again. We ordered the ~ Chicken Pho, Bun Bo Hue (spicy stewed beef noodle soup), Banh Cuon (assorted steamed spring rolls), and Stir fried Chives. I have tasted better but special mention for the stir fried chives which were tossed in oyster sauce with mini dried shrimps - simply outstanding ! Service was not up to the mark. It seems the servers have specific sections to take care of and not all can take orders, so therefore the delays. In such circumstances I am glad we don't have to tip here in Tokyo. Btw they do have menus in English.

“Service glitchy but food sublime”
No English menu but photos are self explanatory. Things get a bit dicey when trying to communicate with the non-English speaking staff as far as ordering anything a la carte. Set menus are very reasonably priced and I will certainly try one the next time I go but this time I wanted a vegetable dish ...not included in a set. It took a waitress two attempts before she handed me off to a waiter who just took my order. The chicken wings I had ordered were brought out as a second course instead of being served with the vegetable, oh well. Food is well prepared here in a very small kitchen and fresh fruit drinks are available although expensive. The sparkling wine by the glass is less expensive despite being imported, and a nice compliment to a meal. If the line waiting on the chairs outside is not too long...go for it.

“Generally good !!”
Both quality of food and service were good !!! The foods were served quite fast and Vietnamese customers can get 10% discount !! The place's overview was well-decorated which made me think about luxurious restaurants !!! We had a great experience there !!! My foreigner friend gave it good comments !...!
