Kaitenzushi Toriton Ikebukurotobu 11F

I got lost getting here as Google maps doesn’t tell you what floor it’s on. Remember to get the lift to the 11th floor. It’s quite a wait, even for one Pax. But the wait was definitely worth it. Excellent service and fresh fish, direct from Hokkaido. Sushi that you can’t find elsewhere. Worth a... 45 minute train ride, 20 minutes getting lost and then a 40 minute queue

Have to come here every week. Love their sushi here. The fish meat is thicker than many restaurants of similar standards. Nice and inexpensive. Service is good. Only negative is long queues. Highly recommended

I prefer to order nigiri directly but sometimes I pick one from the conveyor. Staff is very helpful and nice. Everything is tasty and fresh.

One of my favorite Kaitenzushi restaurants. Some time back I dined at their branch in the Tokyo Skytree, Solamachi, with friends visiting from Canada and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I happened to be window shopping around Ikebukuro and thought of grabbing a quick snack here. I know they ar...e busy on weekends but to my disbelief I had to wait for 10-15 minutes at 3:30pm on a Sunday. Anyway, as usual the sushi served was fresh and delicious and the service was fast. Well, it may be due to the time of the day but I felt the Chefs weren't churning out the dishes as fast as they should be. I mean, there was not much variety doing the rounds. Therefore, I decided to navigate through their English menu and ordered some fresh sushi directly with the chef by showing him the picture of the dish I wanted. By the time I was walking out, the serpentine line of diners was getting longer. P.S. If you do have kids don't worry because they serve fried fish, french fries, puddings, jello and fruit.

We’d been looking around the department store and needed refueling and refreshment and this place had the tell tale sign of a queue of Japanese outside at lunchtime. It was all the evidence we needed so we got in the queue too. The sushi is great (as almost all sushi is in Tokyo). But the real p...oint of difference was the banter the chefs had between them and also with the punters. Whenever a new dish was prepared and ready to be added to the conveyor belt. It wasn’t just placed where there was space. It was fully announced to the whole restaurant. It sounds weird and potentially annoying but the way it was done brings a real atmosphere to the place and makes it what it is. Really enjoyable.
