Hitachino Brewing Mito

This located near Mito station. Official retail shop of Hitachino beer. There are a lot of Hitachino beer, either draught or can or bottle. Nice staffs in nice vibe.

I love craft beer. Whenever I visit Mito, I go to this craft beer restaurant. Location is wonderful, that is, in the JR Mito station building. When I went to this craft beer restaurant, I could drink 9 taps of craft beers as follows: (1)White Ale, (2)Weizen, (3)Lager, (4)Pale Ale, (5)Anbai Ale..., (6)Amber Ale, (7)Dai Dai Ale, (8)Nipponia, (9)Sweet stout. I enjoyed Weizen and Amber Ale very well. Of course, beer taste is amazing! When you want to try as many as possible, please try tasting set. There are 2 kinds of tasting sets. The price of craft beer is 500 Yen for glass(320ml) and 900 Yen for 1 pint(500ml)

Highly recommended for beer fans! Very good white beer, stout and others, nice food. This comes at really high pricing for beer though. The food menu is somewhat limited during the day but good enough.

Their excellent beers are available even in Finland, so this was definitely the place to visit when in Mito. Our Sunday lunch was enjoyable! Those burgers were great, and I had several different varieties of Hitachino beers with the meal (luckily they serve also small glasses). They have some wine a...nd excellent sake, too. Very friendly service! Often full, so book in advance - especially on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Once again at the end of a work week in the Ibaraki area, I had a dinner experience at the True Brew. Really excellent beer and excellent food: we have tried the fish&chips as well as the "octopus fritto", together with the "zepporini". A must go when in the Mito station area.
