“Nice - but no”
This is a nice little hole-in-the-wall kind of place. It’s a wine bar and restaurant. Like most places they gave us the English menu but most things were blocked out by a permanent Sold Out sticker. Only 3 choices of main meal were offered - steak, chicken and pasta. We enjoyed what we ordered. For ...wine we only had a choice of red or white - in a wine bar?! I think this is a disappointing trend in Tokyo. A subtle way to reduce the difficulties for staff caused by non-Japanese speaking customers. We’ve seen one place with a polite sign saying words to the effect of ‘if you can’t speak Japanese please don’t come in’. In summary, don’t bother with Ni-ke. There are better places around - at least for now.

“Good lunch (evening?) place close to Ginza”
Choice of 3 lunch sets all for 980 Yen. The harami steak was my favourite. Outdoor seats if weather good. Bar with food in evenings but not visited yet. English menu and little English spoken.
