It was about 9 pm on our first day In Yokohama and we stumbled on this place near our hotel. We waited over 40 minutes to get waited on even though it was not crowded. The menu was extensive but we soon found out they didn’t have many of the items available. Our second choices were fairly good (stea...k and a chicken sandwich) but then at nearly 11 pm we had another long wait to get the check.

I’ve been alive for 28 years now. They’ve been pretty great. Can’t complain. Had some good food for the most part. I’ve also been fortunate enough to have travelled to over 30 countries. Last night, a friend and I fancied some American food so decided to give this place a try. Romeo and Juliet? Ha...mlet? No sir. This is the biggest tragedy to ever exist on the face of this planet. We ordered a platter which consisted of a burger (4/10), some chicken strips (0/10), a hot dog (inedible) and fries (2/10). We also ordered some buffalo strips on the side. I’m not Gordon Ramsey, however - when you pick up a chicken strip and the coating simply falls off - that’s usually a red flag. However, the biggest crime was biting into it and having a crunching sensation (same texture as a rotting apple (or any apple for that matter). I didn’t even attempt to think about how old that chicken was. The burger was the best part of the meal and even then was generally bland and just soggy. The chilli hot dog? If a restaurant served that in America, it’s get shut down. Both my friend and I couldn’t finish it. It tasted absolutely horrendous. The hot dog itself was like biting into rubber and just tasted like something your dog would produce on a morning walk in the park. I’m not a picky eater - and I rarely complain about food. This, I made an exception for. In summary - don’t go here if you value your inner-organs or if you have any respect for your pallet. Music and atmosphere weren’t bad but the food is still giving my stomach issues and I’m writing this review the morning after. Do yourself a favour and walk 5 minutes to shake shack instead.

We ordered the Texas style Hamburger and the Mexican Chili Hamburger. They were just perfect. The french fries however were dry and over cooked. Service also was slow and they even forgot to bring a glass of water when we asked for. It's still a good place to seek when craving a good old American st...yle hamburger.

I spent a long-weekend in Yokohama and enjoyed the benefits of the local Intercontinental Hotel as well as the local resturants in the nearby shopping area. Whilst I enjoy Japanese food, there are sometimes when only a burger will do. This resturant delivered great tastewitb staff that were genero...us to understand my English and take my food order.
