“Ok place at ok value”
It was heavily raining on our visit to Sapporo so was looking for a place to while away the time with a couple of beers and snacks. We came here the Dark stout was nice, the prices were a little high when you add the tax we got the prawn and beef lunch menu option and the beef was too chewy for my l...iking and all in all I felt it was just a little pricy.

“Pleasant”
A good range of beers & stouts are available as well as tasting boards. "Tapas" style dishes are available and are of a good quality. Staff are friendly and efficient - exactly what you'd expect in Japan. Nice modern restaurant/bar. Thoroughly enjoyed a couple of hours there. Menus have English on t...hem and staff have sufficient language skills to communicate with those of us that have no Japanese.

“Really good food and some of the best beer in town.”
This is definitely the place to go for some great eats and a chance to taste 4 or 5 Yebisu draft beers. They have a menu in English with pictures of the dishes and the beers and it a pretty extensive list. The meat plate was great as well as the assorted vegetables at a reasonable price. Beer,super!... The staff is attentive and the service was very good. I speak little Japanese but had no problem ordering with the English menu. You take a card at your table with your number and take to the cashier to cash out. The hard part maybe finding the place as it is one floor down in what is known as Apia under Sapporo JR Station. I walked out of the South entrance of the station past Daimaru Department store and turned right in the open area. Walked about 100 ft and saw an underground stairway which had a sign saying Apia. Walk down and you will face a restaurant called Meat Gang, go around to the right and Yebisu will be on your left. Seating is at tables or at the counter. Not sure of the hours or closed days but I highly recommend this place for great food and great beer. Can't wait to go back.
