“For Fuki Sake!”
Popped in to refresh myself after a long walk acclimatising to Sapporo. I wanted local beer only. Thing is, it was a warm day, and I didn’t want to sit in. I wanted to sit on the terrace. But, the terrace is set up for dinning (grills) not single beer-drinkers. I asked the delightful waitress if ...I could have a beer al fresco. She went to check and came back with a thumbs up! I had two locally brewed beers. The Five Star, which was crisp and pleasing and a Sorachi, which was more up-front and had a very slight taste of bitter on the finish. Both good beers. I paid and departed. But not before a little and childish chuckle at the Sake range (see pic). This is a good spot after doing to beer museum. The food (speciality lamb) looked good to me. And I would happily dine there.

“Enjoyable though not outstanding”
We had lunch at this restaurant together with a visit to the Sapporo Beer Museum. We chose the set lunch options which include a non-alcoholic drink. There are different kinds of sets consisting of mutton in a variety of flavours for putting on the grill, and for diners who are not into jingisukan (...grilled mutton), there are noodle options too. It was an enjoyable experience, though not particularly outstanding. They provided large plastic bags to store our belongings, and also a paper apron to keep our shirts clean from all that grilling. Recommended if combined with a visit to Sapporo Beer Museum, otherwise not worth a special trip just to eat here.
