Matsuo Jingisukan Takikawa Main Restaurant

I went to Matsuo Genghis Khan last week. First, I asked for mutton meat. The vegetables are included along with the meat, so we first put bean sprouts, carrots, onions and pumpkins at the end of the pan. Then, mutton meat was placed in the center of the pan, and a special sauce made by Matsuo Genghi...s Khan was applied. By doing so, not only mutton meat but also vegetables are dripped and become delicious. I thought that the bean sprouts were delicious. The mutton meat was also delicious. However, I was still hungry and asked for lamb. The lamb was very delicious. This time I went to Matsuo Genghis Khan alone, so this time I wanted to go with someone.

I stopped here en route to the mountains from Sapporo, and it was definitely a good pick. Set lunch is a generous portion per person, with lamb, vegetables and rice included for a very reasonable price. It's a fun process to cook and would also be good for families or groups as you can just increase... the portion size. Takikawa is a little out of the way unless you're there already, but definitely a good pit stop if you're driving through the area and need a lunch stop.

Attended a get together with excellent gengis khan, which is mutton dish popular in this region. Mutton is one of the best I have had and beer fresh.

When I used to live in Shintotsukawa, there were not many restaurants, so I went to Takikawa (neighbor town) to eat well. Matsuo not only have tons of food available, but everything tasted excellent! The service was good, the value was good, but most importantly, the food was really very GOOD! I hig...hly recommend Matsuo Genghis Khan Honten, to all 13 foreigners who will be in Takikawa this year!

"Genghis Khan" is the dish which baked mutton. The "Genghis Khan" dish made here is good compared with a dish of other stores. When you visited Takikawa in Hokkaido, it would be better to have a meal here.
