“Typical Izakaya experience”
Nice local Izakaya experience with cigarette smokes and all. We ate here because our hotel was just across the road. After a long trip into Hokkaido, we were very hungry when we came in and had a really good meal. The cost wasn't as expensive as I was initially worried. No problem with ordering. Ple...nty of pictures on the menu to just point to.

“Great night out”
Really enjoyed our dinner here. English menu with lots of choices - sushi, sashimi, dumplings, seafood, beef etc. All very tasty. Just across the road from the ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose Hotel so a good option if you don't want to eat in the hotel (cheaper than the sushi bar at the hotel too). It was ...really busy when we were there on a Tuesday night so I recommend that you book I'm advance or go early.

“Not as advertised”
It said it provided non-smoking area in the billboard outside, but it turned out it did not have one after we settled down. Although there was a curtain to each cabin, the smoke from other cabins made all our hair and clothes very smoky, and we all don't smoke. The smoke was too severe that we all... lost appetite and did not eat much. We seriously could order more. The service was not the usual Japanese-style warm and welcoming one. But what's worse was that they practically lied to us. They offered us appetiser without stating anywhere that it's not free and charged us without notifying us. Seriously this is not how you serve tourists who are not too proficient in Japanese. Mine is conversional, but I really did not catch any phrase about charging the appetiser and we did not find any statement about it in the menu. Anyway this shop is known to change their menu after someone complained about them not stating important things as such, so you may not encounter this problem. Although we sat in a cabin, it's incredibly noisy because the divider was only shoulder-height and offered no functionality. This explains the noise and the smoke. The only good thing was that the food was really good and tasty. But then, there are a lot more delicious food around and you don't have to suffer like this to enjoy a good meal. Totally not for family and people who want an enjoyable meal.
