“No belt, ok on a budget but no go if you like good sushi.”

Depending on what you’re looking for I would not recommend this place. If you want the “belt” experience, it’s not working. Sushi was less than average for Japan . But if you want cheap it’s ok. Friendly staff.

“Rotating sushi bar - but non-rotating concept - very affordable”

Located on the main Susukino boulevard going east-west, Tsukisamu Dori, a minute walk from the Hosui Susukino Station, directly across the Mercure and ANA hotels, on the main sidewalk, this makes for a quick and convenient inexpensive sushi outing. If there is a line outside, expect it to move sl...owly due to the limited seats (no more than 20) and the fact that the rotating sushi bar does rotate, but most sushi is prepared by ordering, not taking from the rotating conveyor. I was 6th in line, it took 20 minutes to get seated, and during the 30 minutes I was there, every seat was taken, yet no new sushi was added to the almost empty conveyor, all sushi was ordered verbally or via paper slip. While this is fine and efficient, it does take away some of the fun since you typically order what you are familiar with, versus trying new items that randomly appear on the conveyor, which is the reason I personally enjoy kaiten sushi. No English menu, thus you need to know enough of the basic sushi items to order a variety until full. Service was caring and attentive. As with typical kaiten (rotating) sushi bars, orders are placed on colored plates denoting price and counted at the end. Quality for Sapporo standards was average, slightly better than the kaiten sushi chains such as Genki, with a similar menu, and the addition of a few chirashi-like bowls, which is a Sapporo specialty. The main positive was its very reasonably price, with the lowest plates in the low JPY100s, easy to get your fill for under JPY2000 if you mix in a few JPY100s with JPY200s and JPY300s, and fast service, with 3 sushi chefs and orders usually fulfilled in several minutes. If you know how and what to order, there is no or limited line, you prioritize cost over quality, convenience and speed over a more personalized experience, this is a great option to get your sushi fix if you are in the Susukino neighborhood. I wouldn't go out of my way or wait too long.

“Great sushi experience near Holiday Inn Ana hotel”

Simple sushi corner near our hotel. The sushi is fresh, try to go for the special of the day, it is interesting. No English menu available as the place is mostly local Japanese customer. And the special of the day is on a board written in Japanese. My advise is look around your neighbour to see w...hat they are eating and they more than helpful to tell you of the interesting items of the menu.
