“Best ever Sukiyaki”
We had the Mizayaki beef sukiyaki and it was absolutely melt- in-the-mouth delicious. We took off our shoes and sat on tatami mats, with our legs in a well in the floor (so no sore knees etc). The waitress, dressed in a kimono type dress, brought a huge platter of beef and veg. She lit the gas b...urner on our table and poured in soup stock and started us off, to make sure we had the right idea. We were each supplied with a raw egg in a bowl which we could beat, and then dip our cooked meat into. I wasn't keen on raw egg so I kept the egg until we were almost finished and put in in the stock to cook. The Mizayaki Beef was really good. Overall it was a great meal and a great experience.

“Superb great tasting beef sukiyaki ever!!!!”
Was holidaying at Asahikawa and the travel coordinator Ms Eriko recommended this restaurant for sukiyaki. It was excellent and the beef is juicy and succulent . It is worth what you pay for.

“Very Good Meat, Great Service”
You can order Matsusaka beef, they dont put it on English menu, got to ask waitresses Very delicious and good money value as they didn’t charge that high for very good meat quality Service was what you should expect from Japanese Restaurant, everybody was so heartwarming Please do reserve though ...as they have limited seating, if you stay in hotel you can ask them to book for you 👍; maybe a week before your preferred date

“Satisfies beef craving”
Oct 16 Beef is not always available at restos in Japan. Those that do serve beef declare it on the exterior of the resto and usually in English. We were ready for a beef sukiyaki experience. There is no better way to celebrate the delicacy of premium (heavily marbled) beef than to have a lunch se...t here at 8100Y for two. We fortunately had reservations which are a must. There is a formality to this resto as we were lead to a private tatami room -- with a leg well TG. The food was up to expectations with plenty of thinly sliced beef and lots of onions and bamboo. We drank matcha while other drinks were optional. We HAD to come all the way to Asahikawa to enjoy authentic sukiyaki in the best way possible. Come here before this experience will not be available.
