“Outstanding Cost Value French Dining Experience”
French Restaurant Kazama is a cozy small restaurant which seats no more than 20 people. A small restaurant with decor that is classic French, this small gem is suitable for a romantic tête-à-tête or for a relaxing family dinner experience. This is not recommended for a business dinner or for a nig...ht on the town. The small size of the dining area calls for quiet experience. The cost value is outstanding and so is the service. The restaurant menu is updated monthly for lunch as well as for dinner. LUNCH Daily from 12:00 to 13:30 Regular Lunch (¥1800) The Recommended Day's Lunch(¥2300) Special Lunch of the Day (¥3200) The lunch options include preset items as well as selections from a list. DINNER: Dinner A (¥4000) Dinner B (¥5800) Dinner C (¥8400) The Chef's Dinner Omakase (¥10500) We selected dinner C and were extremely satisfied with the courses. We also loved the home made bread that was served. WINE Wine List This small lovely restaurant has a good list of wines which will please most wine lovers. There is a fair selection of wines from Bourgogne which compliments the style of dishes served here. BYO - Call ahead and ask. We were allowed to bring our own and were charged a corkage fee of ¥2000 per bottle. Overall, I would say that this little beautiful restaurant serves the best French meal for under ¥10000 in Sapporo. I also enjoyed lunch here on a few occasions in the past 10 years during my visits to Sapporo and was always impressed by the cost performance of the meals. Bravo!
