“Delicious sushi lunch in a family run restaurant”
The restaurant is a small, family run local joint in the middle of the quiet nondescript town of Kitami with a almost nostalgic air to it. We liked the place immediately. It's fair to say it's a hidden gem we were lucky enough to chance upon as we were making our way across towns. The menu is in Jap...anese only, and the chef is an elderly gentleman who speaks little English. But we made it work with a combination of clumsy sign language and very poor Japanese on my part. Sushi was fresh, stomach filling and overall enjoyable.

“BEST IN our HOKKAIDO trip”
We stopped by Kitami for a night rest to the next stop! The hotel we stayed was a business hotel, they have a canteen like small restaurant, so we decided to dine out.. the small city surprised us with their nice restaurants! We had been in Hokkaido for 10days, this small town has the best resta...urants ! What a shame that we can only try 2 of them... One is Kobayashi! Recommended by trip adviser and close to our hotel ( just few minutes walk) we had our dinner there... The restaurant has few floors, after 7pm it was full house... You can only choose Sushi, they have no other choice, but the sushi was very fresh! Very good taste! Nice and friendly staffs. We will go again if we have chance!

“Top Quality”
This is the best sushi so far for us in Hoikkaido. Is simply delicious. We as for a sample of zushi. Armonious place. Good value, credit card acepted, free parking right next to the restaurant.

“Exquisite sushi at a good price”
The sushi were exquisite, using the finest ingredients. Though no English menu was available, the kind chef was patient to explain to us the menu spread. The menu was simple as well. We went for nigiri and sashimi. It costs less than 5000 yen for this fine sushi. Will definitely be back to visit aga...in.
