“Gotta try this place ”
Went there thinking or wondering if it is anywhere close to the one in Waikiki, it wasn't busy as busy as one in Waikiki but I would say that quality is as good or better than Hawaii. Love this place. Food is so good and so affordable if you have not try this place I would recommend it. I had the ...beef udon so good and also small oyako- don but it really wasn't small. It was so filling. At the end of the line where you pay for what you have selected and placed on your tray there is green onions and tempura crumbs. That is absolutely no charge!!! I recently read the article saying that this is the number one chain restaurant selected by the people in Japan. Now that say something. There is over 700 stores just in Japan. Selection is mostly udon but you have your onigiri and inari Seems that there are couple of different types of Marugame, there is stand alone and food court type either way they are really good. I do like the fact that when they are stand alone they have adequate amount of parking facility. Also take out for the tempura. I think they charge by the number of tempura you can for in the box. The place is set up nicely, first you pick the size of the bowl of udon you want. Then you go down the line to pick your toppings they will charge you depending on how much topping you have selected. At the end you pay. Great system. Noodle is made there in spot. If you have time you might able to catch them make the noodle from scratch. Soup is really good as well.
