We strolled in one evening as a group of six and managed to snag the last table. We did have to wait a while for our meal and the service was only average. The food however was excellent. We shared a mix of sushi. Soba noodles, curry, etc. All meals were well presented and very tasty. Well recommend...ed.

“No reservation, friendly waitress, good food.”
Late in the ski season, so many restaurants closing. We chose this restaurant as a local magazine confirmed it is open all season. Nice selection of food with local produce. Grilled pork ribs, sashimi and sake selection very good. Waitress very friendly and fun. Sashimi was a bit on the expensi...ve side relative to other dishes but fair value for the selection and quality.

“Nice long lunch spot”
It is housed inside Chalet Ivy with a good variety of choices of individual or set. It also offers soft ice cream on a cone and wild berry waffle, which was the highlight of our lunch!

we’ve repeated ordering some of the dishes... but the price is quite reasonable. We were impressed my the quality of the food although the portions is small. On the other hand, the environment is extremely comfortable and gives a classy atmosphere.

“Excellent food, Friendly service, Superb ambience, Great value”
Had breakfast and dinner at Hirafukaza for 3 days in a row. Food here is excellent. For breakfast, the menu is different everyday. Japanese set was especially good. Buffet breakfast was good too. You can make your own ramen, soba and boiled eggs. For dinner, loved the fried oysters. Soba was really... tasty. Friendly service, staff was always helpful and friendly. Ambience was superb. Seating areas are nicely decorated. Great value. 100% satisfied with the level of service and quality of food. Definitely recommended.
