“Wonderful food and great evening”
What is better than excellent. Chef Kago has perfected this dinning experience. Every single dish we had was delicious and is presentation was a work. Chef even suggested drinks to pair with our meals. Sit at the counter and you can watch them prepare the meals. Towards the end of the meal we w...ith toasted with Chef Kago and capped the night with a great wine. The best dining experience I have ever had. we hope to be back someday soon.

“Fantastic fine dining experience.”
Fantastic fine dining experience. We got a seat by the open kitchen and so we got to see the chef execute his menu. Dishes are well created and ingredients very fresh. Do come early though as restaurant is difficult to find for a foreigner.

“More than 5 stars! Maybe a 8 stars!”
This is the best kaiseki-ryōri I have had anywhere in Japan. From the yuzu-scented appetizer, to the tempura corn, various parts of a Kegani crab, uni on eggplants, fugu sashimi, hamadai sushi, tuna and squid sushi, Hokkaido beef, soba and the splendid apple puree, every dish is beyond excellent. Ev...ery dish leaves an impression. We were taught to eat fugu sashimi with spring onion which turned out to be a great combination. The uni on eggplant is another combination that was so harmonious and brings out the best of both ingredient. The skin of the fried hamadai, how can I describe it, it's like eating crackers with vinegar rice - it was so damn crispy! The dessert of apple puree is also a special mention. We never had it before and what a delight!

“Most try restaurant in HOKKAIDO.”
One of the best Japanese restaurants visited during our 11 days Hokkaido trip. Fresh Hokkaido ingredients (uni, corn, seafood, beef, fresh fruits, vegetables) cooked perfectly. For a 3-Michelin star omakase dinner for 5 pax in a private room, it is reasonably priced too. It was the perfect dinner... to end our Hokkaido trip. Must book in advance.

“Superb dinner”
Very enjoyable kaiseki dinner over counter seeing chef with 4 assistants at almost clockwork timing. Wide variety of dishes all very enjoyable. Only wish chef has wider wine list in English to pair. Counter has only 6 seats.
