I really enjoyed our 'curry night' in Sapporo. The basic soup can be customized in a variety of ways, meats, veg, spices (mild to hot) and toppings. Mine was gluten free, and very tasty. The atmosphere was good, and the staff friendly.

The soup main ingredient choice is poor: vegetable or chicken; usually you can have pork or even a steak. The soup itself is watery, while other spots serve nicely thick broth. Actually, same is for coffee — they seem to think that “Espresso” is just Italian for a “small coffee” and seem to serve re...gular pour-over coffee into a small cup. 🙄 Considering there are better place not only in Sapporo but in the neighborhood (Samurai) as well - it is advised to rethink if you’d really like to eat there. Especially since you already made it that far north from the city center.
