Rukku and Uohei

Situated at one end of Tanukikoji Shopping Street, is Izakaya Rukku. Just got in half pass 6pm, last table. Ordering via a tablet by table, have English version which made easy for us. We had a mix of sashimi, and grilled food like pork belly, squid, prawns. The 6 variety sashimi platter at JPY 1,9...80 is a bargain, and the thick cut tuna JPY 880 is truly thick, big, fresh and oishii. Love it. They serve the Asahi super dry in a stainless glass for extra chill. Price reasonable.

Had our first dinner at this place, more locals than tourist which is a good thing. Order a lot of food and total bill is about 5000 yen which is impossible in SG. As expected, sashimi are very fresh and the potato patties are sweet and yummy. Clams soup was amazing. When I visit there, I was little bit tired and wanted casual, easy entering but has traditional atmosphere and good Hokkaido Sashimi(Raw fish). This restaurant was acceptable for such situation. We can order 3 types of Sashimi and price is just 1,200JPY:-) I took two types of shell and kuro-soy fis...h, a kind of rock fish. Those were tasty and made me relax. Additionally we can drink any alcohol unlimited during 60minutes, if we pay 980JPY.Great!!!! Restaurant staffs can not understand foreign languages but provides Chinese Characters menu book.

We has dinner here in July 2018. There was not much long waiting queue. Staff provided tablet for us to order in English. Price is reasonable but sashimi was not that fresh. Food serving was also fast.

The food is cheap, fresh with lot of choices. Many local Japanese have meals at this restaurant. According to the local culture, it is allowed to smoke indoor. For I am not smoking, it is quite difficult to me.
