“Hidden gem in Asahikawa ”
This cozy-trendy restaurant has an open kitchen where the chef prepares very tasty and nice looking dishes. The portions are ideal for us: enjoying great flavours without over-eating. You have the choice of a 4 or a 6 course menu. We took 4 because we ate a late lunch. Highlights: The cuisson of th...e snapper, the duck and the vegetables were close to perfection. The purée was light and soft. The nice coffee was accompanied by home made madeleines with a splash of lemon. This chef could work in a high end restaurant in Tokyo without blushing. The few attention points for us were: the bread was served too hot ; the waiter was very kind and attentive but he was sniffing at the end of our dinner and even if it is a common thing in japan, it is not done in a restaurant. I will certainly go back!
