“Great hosts, even better food”
Nice atmosphere. Lovely family run restaurant. I had a delicious Yaki soba with vegetables and.my son had the pancake with bacon and sprouts and egg. Just watching the cooking on the griddle is entertaining enough! Lots of locals sitting around the counter. Sapporo draft on tap. No English spoke...n but luckily for us the local high school English teacher was at the counter and very kindly helped us with translation. Highly recommended!

“Yummy and fresh”
Small and vintage shop operated by an eldery grandma. Food is freshly prepared and cooked in front of you. Highy recommended

“Fresh Okonomiyaki”
Wonderful local hole in the wall restaurant that serves delicious okonomiyaki. It's a light crepe with cooked cabbage and peanuts then topped with whatever goodies you want. We had one with bacon, assorted seafood, egg and noodles and another with bacon, egg, sliced green onion/ leeks both covered... in a ton katsu type sauce. These were made in front of us on a large griddle. Beware, it can get hot by the griddle so you may want to move to the side if you are sensitive. Totally delicious....only wished the cook spoke some English but he was friendly enough!
