“Quick, Cheap and Predictable”

Fine for a quick meal, Yoshinoya’s beef and pork bowls are predictable and inexpensive. You can be in and out within 15 m...inutes and be sure to have a decidedly average lunch in the process. On our most recent trip, we enjoyed our pork don, particularly for the price (¥700). You can make your bowl a set for a couple hundred Yen extra. The sets vary based on price, but some include salad and miso or kimchi and miso. The kimchi is mediocre, as is the miso, but both can be good to enjoy with your main course.

“Good-value fast-food restaurant in a main shopping area”
We visited for lunch. Service was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Menus were available in English (with pictures!). Portions were generous and the food was good. The restaurant was very clean and tidy, as were the toilets.
