While we love the food, we were all desperate for a salad. We found this place that had meal-sized green salads. Cobb salads and Cesear salads. All four of us ordered salads, and they satisfied our cravings. No, it wasn't the best salad we ever had, nor was it the size that Westerners would cons...ider to be a full meal salad, but it was enough. We were happy. The ordering system is by tablet. You can change languages. No communication issues. We can't complain at all.

We arrive from Kanazara and just want a quiet beer & small snack in a relaxing atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. This venue ticks all the boxes. Pizza delicious as was the seafood cocotte

Found this place walking through the covered market in Kyoto within our first few hours here. Plenty of locals inside so must be good. Great way to order food and drink, the staff give you an electronic pad to look through the food and drink choices. Once you’ve decided and selected what you want h...it the order button and it sends your order straight to the bar and kitchen. All arrives in short amount of time. Good selection of food and drinks. All reasonably priced. Nice place for our first night in Kyoto, reminded me of the bar in the Cheers TV program.

I had the sausage platter and potato salad for lunch. The sausages were very good. The potato salad had good flavor but the potatoes were largely mashed up. Their dark beer was very good but the pour was bad - way too much foam. Very good service and an automated ordering system that was interes...ting. Not perfect but a decent choice if you’re looking for a place to sit down and eat near the Nishiki Market.

Very average, and on the more expensive side. We dropped in for a couple of beers at this bar, and the beer was okay, but not stand out.
