“You have to try it once...”
But I could not stop thinking what I could have done with the money spent here. It is an experience and you are served in by a member of staff very meticulously, but it was not miles ahead of many other meals that had cost between a tenth and twenty percent what we paid for this experience. It will ...be a memory of Japan, but I’m sure there are other ways of experiencing the same at a fraction of the cost. I simply can’t justify the cost.

“Ok”
A small restaurant that service value for money food. Service is good except for their limited English ability. Good value place.

“Great service”
We planned to be here for dinner and we barely made it, we were the last customers to arrive. We've been walking all day and for sure we weren't dressed properly for this place. This was our last chance to try Kyo-ryori dinner and they made sure of the cost ¥15,600, about $150 dollars a person for ...a 7-course dinner. They put us on a private extra large room for a party of possibly 20 people, we were just 3 of us. Anyway, the servers were very polite and helpful explaining each plate, all the plates were very small and mostly sea food related. Personally was not a big fan of half of what they served and my 18 year old daughter wasn't either. My husband ended up eating all what we did not eat. Although, the people were very very nice, we wasted good money on that.

“Traditional food and peaceful enviroment”
The enviroment is amazing. The experience of a private room, Japanese garden and a lady wearing kimono is amazing. The food is very traditional and rich. It is pricy but it's worth. Before you come be aware about Japanese mindsets. It is not a type of restaurant that you go with friends to talk lou...d and have fun. The invitation is to calm down and appreciate.
