“Consistently good ”
No trip of ours is complete without dining at Umenohana. This last visit must have been our 5th time...at least. I'm only sorry its taken me only now to give 👍👍👍👍👍to this restaurant. Umenohana was probably the first kaiseki restaurant to introduce me to the wonders of a truly amazing and delici...ous Japanese tofu meal. Once I had it, I never looked back. I could easily be vegetarian if it means to eat foods like that everyday. So what's good about it? Firstly, the varieties of the tofu dishes that were put together were just completely unexpected. Secondly, the taste was nothing less than what one would get from a meal with meats. Thirdly, the texture. As varied as the way the tofu dishes were prepared, you could expect the same with the texture. Some are smooth, some crispy, some with the similar texture like meats. Simply wonderful! And the most beautiful part of the experience? The restaurant had remained consistently good through out the many visits. Thank you Umenohana for yet another enjoyable dining experience. Till the next time, arigato gohzaimaz

“Wonderful view and Tofu”
I can't imagine that can enjoy the nice view from the 21st floor of a really nice tofu restaurant in Osaka with a reasonable price. I strongly recommend the dish - 引き上げ湯葉, this dish will provide you with a tofu soup when it keep boiling, you can get the rotten skin per 3-5 mins. 無法想像可以在大阪鬧市中的的21樓享用...美麗景觀及不比京都遜色的豆腐宴,記得下單要點「引き上げ湯葉」,一邊煮一邊吃腐皮!

“Delicious Japanese lunch!”
You have to take off your shoes before entering into the dining area. Nice view as it is located on 21/F. Services are good and the atmosphere is clam and decent. Food is excellent !

“Yummy yuba!”
An excellent Japanese meal (we ordered Umenohana Kiwami) in this Japanese style restaurant chain. Everything was superb and we had great fun with the Hikiage Yuba dish - a soymilk delicacy which you make yourself at the table (with a bit of coaching from your server!).
