“excellent food and fast service”
We returned to this restaurant after a few years. Delicious dishes and above all excellent low temperature beer. I would like to recommend it (not high cost).

“Worst meal in 3 weeks”
Greasy food that slid off plate with grease. Ribs were just a slab of fatty meat - not a rib to be seen (no bones). Staff were abrupt. Would not recommend

“Definitely come”
This was fun because we were the only non Japanese people and most patrons were over 60. Snacks were good. Seems like a place locals actually go which is nice. Beer is cheaper ¥600ish for a glass that's smaller than a pint but cheaper than the ¥1000 yen pints at most Japanese craft beer places.

“Tasty and different”
Tired of ramen and broth? Asahi offered us a different variety of food: We had a big omelette with ragù and mushrooms, steak and fried shrimps. The best thing was the omelette, big and very tasty, ready after 30min, but amazing 😍

“Weird 'Western' food but fun”
So it's a beer hall type place serving the Japanese take on 'Western' food and we were torn on whether or not to give it a go but we did... It was a really fun experience and we enjoyed our food. We clearly had a lot as the waitress was concerned we had ordered too much! Good beer as always from ...Asahi. Prices were reasonable and the location is very central so was handy for our hotel. One of the Japanese experiences worth trying once on a visit!
