“Wonderful food!”
Went here with family of all ages! Kids meals were a great option, good selection of food from sushi, tempura, to hot pot. Using the tablet to order took some time to figure out but overall the experience was great and food came quickly! Big tables for large groups which was great for us!

“Probably the worst experience in Japan ever”
The iPad ordering is not very customer friendly to begin with and in our case the system broke down twice so we thought we had ordered and waited for nothing to show Impossible to communicate with anyone so at the end we just had to leave Service the worst I have experienced in my 70+ trips to Japan.... The few dishes we actually got was never cleaned from the table despite sitting there for a long time waiting for the food that never showed

“Good sushi and easy to order from tablet (multiple languages)”
A very nice restaurant near Kyoto station. We didn’t do a set menu, instead we used the tablet (available in different languages) to order individual sushi and tempura dishes. The restaurant is hard to find. As you exit Kyoto station the Kyoto Tower side, don’t cross the road or leave the path you... are on, just turn immediately to your right. Look for the escalators (picture attached) and head up them. The restaurant is through the door from the top of escalator (middle restaurant).

“Excellent Japanese cousine course”
I have been to Ganko restaurant in Osaka city before, so for a lunch with important guests in Kyoto I booked Ganko at Kyoto station. It was as good as expected (especially fresh uni was impressive) and left just positive memories.I can recommend this place as a high-quality Japanese cousine just few... steps from Kyoto station. Thank you

“Excellent food. Affordable Kaiseki Ryori”
My Japanese bf first introduced me to Ganko when I visited Kyoto in Spring. The Kaiseki Ryori is affordable compared to some places. Ganko is said to be the 4th best restaurant in Kyoto. We love their sushi and other set meals too. It is cheaper than many other places. Food was definitely great. I... would definitely rekon Ganko Restaurant to all my families and friends. Mirei
